Books: What To Read This Summer?

Books

Summer is here, and sun means books and reading. So here I present a beta version of my reading list. It´s not finished, but I suppose it´s better to publish the list now while the sun is still up. If I postpone to long, it might not be published before the dark period (no sun in 6 months) has reached us here in the north, and then nobody reads anything anyways.

The reading list contains Warren Buffet´s favourite books aswell as some of the leading CEO´s favourite books. For example the list contains recommendations from Steve Jobs, Bill gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Suckerberg, Tim Cook and more. Enjoy!

Please comment below and your favourite books aswell as what you are reading this summer.

  1. Stockles, one of my favorite books is “I Will Teach You To Be Rich” by Rammit Sethi. It’s an older book, but I still use some of the concepts in that book today, including his discussion on conscious spending.

Another book I’ll throw out there is “The Truth About Money” by Ric Edelman. He’s a top financial advisor and has written similar books such as The Truth About Retirement Plans and IRAs.

Finally, The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach is good too. Again, an older book, but with some important principles.

  2. Hi stockles,

tx for sharing this “long list” of books. I’ ll definitely pick a few for the summer:-)…Some of them are awesome reads like the “Great Gatsby” for example. Right now i’m reading “The Snowball – Warren Buffett and the Business of Life” written by Alice Schroeder. Fantastic insight.

By the way: your blog post picture contains Haruki Murakami – do know his books? I read a lot of them, although they are not easy, but it’s worth it.

    Best Regards

    1. Hi DividendSolutions,

Awesome! Many of the books are sold in millions around the world, so you should be able to find something you like. The Snowball by Buffet is simply amazing, and I´m glad you find such a good book to read so early in your investment career.

For sure, my book shelf is filled up with books written by Hurakami. Sometimes a bit hard to read, but as you say, it´s worth it.

Thanks for stopping by and adding your book tips!
